In the Four Accords, Don Miguel reveals the source of self-sustaining agreements that deprive us of joy and cause unnecessary suffering. If we are prepared to amend these agreements, there are four falsely simple but powerful agreements that we can adopt as guiding principles. Based on the ancient wisdom of Toltec, the four chords offer a powerful code of conduct that can quickly transform our lives into a new experience of freedom, true happiness and love. I was looking for a book that could open my mind to new thoughts and perspectives after reading Dan Millman`s amazing The Way of The Peaceful Warrior. It is sad to say that there are very few books that can really change your life, despite the bold assertions of many, but this path and the path of the peaceful warrior (at least for me) mentioned above has really contributed to a remarkable change in my life. If they find out that you spend your days thinking, „It has to be more to live than that, then you`re right!“ And these two books could help you see this opportunity. I would recommend this book to anyone involved in depression, trust or dissatisfaction in life. I often listen to this book. The lessons, even if they are simple in concept, are profound. Enjoy x The word is not just a written sound or symbol.

The word is a strength; it is the power that you must express and communicate, think and create events in your life. You can talk. What other animal on the planet can talk? The word is the most powerful instrument you have as a man; It is the tool of magic. But like a two-sided sword, your word can create the most beautiful dream, or your word can destroy everything around you. An edge is the abuse of the word that creates a living hell. The other edge is the incomprehability of speech, which will only create beauty, love and heaven on earth. Depending on how it is used, the word can free you, or it can enslave you even more than you know. All the magic you have is based on your word. Your word is pure magic, and the abuse of your word is black magic. This is a brilliant book with an excellent audio edition.

It describes four simple agreements that you must make with yourself, which will allow you to increase your control over how you live your life: 1) Be immaculate with your word; 2) Don`t take anything personally; 3) Don`t make assumptions; 4) Always do your best. Easy doesn`t mean easy! Don Miguel`s book helps the reader to have the power of these chords and to use it. Reading Peter Coyotes is a pleasure that supports the learning process. It is a timeless work that can be constantly recalled. I found the four chords even more powerful than Stephen Coveys Seven Habits, which speaks volumes. And just like the seven habits, the four chords are powerful in all aspects of your life, including family, work and recreation. I have had this book for years, but I have not been able to pass the first pages. I tried it as an audiobook with much more success. I really appreciate this book and the lessons inside.

It`s a good read, I recommend it. Peter Coyote has the audio story of this novel and with all his experience. He managed to impress listeners with his impeccable voice and tonal quality. In this book, the author masterfully reveals the source of self-limitation of beliefs. In this paragraph, it is the beliefs that effectively deprive us of all this agitation ultimately creates unnecessary suffering. First, the four agreements are based on the ancient wisdom of Toltec, which offers a very imaginative code of conduct.
